Dear participants of IWFOS 2020 (2021),

Let us inform you about the Special Issue of the Journal of Multivariate Analysis associated with IWFOS 2020 (2021) that will publish papers on topics within the areas covered by the workshop.

Thank you very much for sending us your opinion on the period of submission. Based on your opinion and negotiation with JMVA we announce
that the period for submission of papers will be September 1, 2020 – February 28, 2021.

Submission of papers to the Special Issue is independent of participation at IWFOS 2020 (2021). Anyone can submit a paper to the Special Issue
without participating at IWFOS and vice versa. Manuscripts submitted to the Special Issue will undergo a regular peer-review process, in which the main criteria are quality and relevance of the topic. The IWFOS co-chairs will act as Guest Editors of the Special Issue.

We look forward to your submissions. Further information on the submission process will follow soon and will be posted on the workshop webpage.
